R-Motorsport present striking new livery on their Aston Martin Vantages GT3

Before the motorsport world can go back to normality R-Motorsport have just presented their new livery after having incorporated this into the Assetto Corsa Competizione, the official GT World Challenge game.

During the last couple of weeks the Italian video game developer’s tech team at Kunos Simulazioni supported R-Motorsport with reproducing their Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the striking new colours with an outstanding level of detail. The new colour scheme for eSport competitions is a significant update of the livery first seen on the R-Motorsport cars during the official SRO tests at Paul Ricard in March. The new design will be identical to the one on the real R-Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage GT3 cars once they appear on the race tracks again.

The main purpose for developing the new livery was to celebrate speed, motion and progress whilst keeping to its core brand colours of greys and blues.

Significant features of the livery are the sheared stripes applied at 38.7°, the same angle as the parallelogram in the R-Motorsport logo to represent speed and motion. The black base line elongates the car and makes it look lower to the ground. All team partners are applied perpendicular to the floor line to make the car seem lower and ultimately look even more dynamic. The livery is a complex printed wrap overlaid onto a white base. This allows repairs should they be required trackside to be managed more efficiently.

The official SRO E-Sport Championship, the eSport GT World Challenge game of the SRO will feature all three of R-Motorsport’s cars with all of their nine drivers at the wheel in the PRO category, dedicated to real life drivers attending SRO’s championships, like they will be seen in real race action later this year.
